Metal working branch is the hedger of professional education in metal working industry in the city of Jelgava and its region. It started work in year 2003 and it is equipped with modern equipment according to the standarts of nowdays metal working technology.
Metal working is one of the priorities in the development strategy of Jelgava. All inhabitants of our city will benefit: entrepreneurs – skilled workers, people – profession and competitiveness in labour market.
The metal working branch provides training on the request of the companies, providing special training program for each company. Metal working implements their work involving the best specialists of metal working in Latvia, and thanks to flexible management system, it is possible to work out training program even for one group of students.
Metal working branch offers the following training programs:
- MMA – arc welding
- OAW – the gas welder
- MIG/MAG - the welder on semiautomatic devices in the environment of protective gases
- TIG - welding with not fusible tungstic electrode
- Auto CAD - computer graphics
- Mastercam – computer graphics
- SolidWorks - computer graphics
- CNC - machine with program management
Metal working branch of Jelgava regional adult educational centre is located 40 Kr. Barona Street , in Jelgava.
